Neck pain most commonly results from poor head and shoulder positions, stressing the ligaments and joints of what is a 'mobile weight-bearing structure' – aka the neck!
The most common onset is waking up with pain in the morning or sleeping funny. Car accidents and sports injuries are common causes and stress is another big problem.
The head weighs as much as a bowling ball so when something goes wrong in the neck it really affects our lives.
